Figurative Abstraction
My figurative abstractions are, for the most part, imaginative explorations into the spirit of the human form. Some of the work in this series, for example, "Holiday Couple," and "The Poem," are more narrative than abstract and deeply personal. These paintings were created as a wedding gift to my wife, Josie Emmons Turner.
